The design of Saurines golf course is similar to the desert golf courses in Las Vegas or Arizona, both designed by Jack Nicklaus but with the philosophy of connected holes. The course is known for its undulating fairways between sand dunes and impressive greens, few bunkers and a big central lake.
The greens in Saurines are the best in the area. Most of them are uphill from the fairway, which add difficulty. The golf course is on the 39th position of the golf courses in Spain, classify by the “Top 100 Golf Courses”.
Since its inauguration in 2011 it has turned a referent on the area.
